       Our Livestock

CVM ewe

American Romeldale/California Variegated Mutant sheep

These colored sheep can be multi-colored gray and black as in the CVMs, or gray or black, or spotted.  They have a fine soft fleece

Border Collie
Herding Dogs

We have 2 herding dogs which are a cross between Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and McNab.
Quarter Horse mare
American Quarter Horses

We have ten registered American Quarter Horses.  They are foundation bred performance horses. The foals are well suited for cutting competition and cow horse work.

Morrit ewe
Natural Colored sheep

Our colored sheep came to us as a colored flock.  They are mostly descended from Romeldales and CVMs. They are naturally colored  brown, black, and gray. Their wool is fine and soft and is like that of the Romeldale/CVMs.
Perendale ewe
Perendale sheep

Our small flock of Perendale sheep started out as ten sheep in 1989. We purchased them from people in Southern Utah. They originally came from Maryland. This is one of the few registered flocks of Perendale sheep West of the Mississippi. In fact, there are not too many Perendale sheep in the United States. We have been artificially inseminating some our ewes with semen from carefully selected New Zealand rams. This AI Process has been worthwhile and has greatly improved our flock.

guardian dogs
Pyrenees x Akbash guardians

We have two giant white guardian dogs. They are  Isaac ("Ike"), and Jacob ("Jake"). Predators beware!
