Our yarn is custom spun from wool shorn from our flocks, or from our neighbors flocks.
PERENDALE
Perendale fiber is long (about 5") and strong, but is soft enough to use for clothing and strong enough for rugs:
available as 2 ply worsted weight, sport weight, and fingering weight yarn, for knitting or weaving, The fingering weight yarn has 20% mohair added to it for strength;
and a singles yarn which can be woven at 10 to 12 epi. or for use in tapestry.
Although Perendale wool does not readily felt, knitting projects can be felted in the washing machine.
ROMELDALE/CVM
Romeldale and CVM sheep produce a fine (about 24 micron) fleece which is soft and multicolored, in shades of black, brown, and gray and charcoal.
CORRIEDALE
Our Corriedale yarn has been spun from our neighbors Corriedale sheep and it is available in 2 shades of gray. It is available in 2 ply worsted weight yarn. Corriedale wool felts nicely and therefore works well for felted knitting projects.
